Bible Study Group

The Men’s Bible Study Group, led by Dr. Abraham Ruelas, meets each Tuesday from 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

Dr. Abe feels inspired to provide a venue to help men, especially new converts, develop a better understanding of God's Word and its teachings. In the past, the group has studied the Pauline Epistles, the Psalms of Ascent and is now studying books of prophecy. Having just concluded the book of Revelation, the group will begin a study of the book of Ezekiel and Daniel. The group will study the book sequentially, book by book, rather than thematically, and look at various Bible translations as we study this wonderful book.

Abraham and his wife Patricia are both graduates of Patten University and each has been a member of the Christian Cathedral family for over 40 years. Abe and Pat are very involved in the community, and are actively engaged in the Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council. Dr. Abe is dean of campus programs and chair of education and psychology at Patten University and is also an ordained minister in the Church of God.
